My great-grandmother taught me how to paint at a very young age.  I was about five when she put a paint brush in my hand and I haven’t looked back.  She started painting in her 60s and was drawn to florals.  She gravitated towards deep, dark colors while I was always drawn to pastels and blues.  Seriously, blue was always my favorite color to paint with.  I painted an awful lot of landscapes and scenery over the years, but I really got into flowers at I grew older.

Our Marina suite was very popular for our past brides, but I wanted to make it more colorful and airy.  While Marina reminded me of something my great-grandma would have been proud of, I feel like our Ashley suite is more of my personal style. It reminds me of painting with my grandma in her studio as a child.

Looking at this Purple Rose Watercolor Wedding invitation reminds me of a secret garden.  Can’t you just smell the flowers?
