It shouldn’t come as a surprise by now that I’m drawn to watercolors and blush, peachy tones!

This Modern Peach and Grey Watercolor Invitations suite was just so fun to work on.  It reminds me of my favorite place in the world, the Outer Banks.  My home away from home.  We have a vacation home in Nags Heads, and I don’t remember a summer that I didn’t spend with the salty air in my hair and my toes in the water.  It’s been an amazing tradition that I am so excited to carry on with our children.  Seriously, Chloe is already counting down and asking how many more days it is until the beach.  (The answer is 74 days, if you’re wondering).

Looking at this peach watercolor invitation makes me want to put my feet in the sand & lay back with the sun in my face, while reading my favorite book.

My home away from home is what I had in mind when I was designing this piece.  Doesn’t it just look like waves washing over the paper?  The script flows across like ripples in the water.  Seriously, guys, it’s just dreamy.  It feels like home.

Paired with antique gold envelopes and a peach silk hand-dyed ribbon?  GORGEOUS.  I am so utterly and completely in love with this modern watercolor suite!
