This Fox Chapel Golf Club wedding is glam. Maureen and Sam’s spring wedding was the perfect blend of glam and romantic. With a blush and dusty blue color palette, our floral letterpress wedding invitation truly set the tone for the entire wedding and their monogram was carried the throughout the day. Maureen’s bouquet with lush hydrangeas and peonies by Blossoms by Jillian was the perfect complement to the bride’s lace gown from Bridal Beginnings. It couldn’t have been a better day filled with love – and a gorgeous sunset!
Romantic Glam Bridal Style
With Maureen’s romantic glam style, I knew that her spring wedding at the Fox Chapel Golf Club would truly be one of a kind. But when I saw the wedding day come to life, photographed by Leeann Marie Photography, obsessed is not too strong of a word.
To start, I cannot get over bride’s layered lace gown. It certainly set the stage for their blush and dusty blue wedding and was absolutely perfect on Laureen. The lush flowers, from Blossoms by Jillian, completed the soft, spring blush and dusty blue palette.
Warm Florals & Tons of Texture
The lush bouquets and floral displays, from Blossoms by Jillian, enhanced the vibe, incorporating lots of blooms in blush, white, and mauve which included ranunculus, peonies and fresh greenery. And wait until you see their wedding cake — it’s a true work of art!
Pretty Paper Details
The invitation suite was designed to mimic the lush florals incorporated throughout their wedding day. Blush, white and mauve floral details cascaded across the formal invitation and details card. I paired a clean, modern serif typeface with a gorgeous script that highlighted their names. We printed on luxe 100% cotton paper stock. Dusty blue letterpress tied the suite together. The bride and grooms names were foiled in rose gold. This invitation design has gotten so much love and inspired many other designs for future brides!
Thank you, Maureen and Sam, for sharing your special day with me!
