Allyssa and James had an intimate wedding at the Stockroom on 230 in downtown Raleigh, North Carolina last spring surrounded by their closest family and friends. From the stunning arrangements to Allyssa’s ballgown, this urban wedding was an absolute dream! When I first met Allyssa, she wasn’t sure what to expect from the stationery process. As we started designing together, I could tell she was getting more and more excited about the paper goods and how they would add to her wedding vision! Allyssa wanted something soft and romantic, so we stuck to traditional wording but added special touches like the cascading floral border.
Together we decided on a beautiful two tone palette of pink and green, which played out in the bridesmaid dresses, bouquets and wedding cake. The entire suite was digitally printed on 120# Reich Bright White Paper, so the invitation had a wonderful heaviness to it and gave the impression that each piece was hand painted. The pink and green flowers cascade and create a lush border to frame their formal wedding invitation. We paired the watercolor flowers with a gorgeous gold script font to support vintage-vibe of the wedding invitations and to compliment the urban wedding venue. I loved that we could work in these personal details to make a suite that was specifically for Allyssa and James.
