Curious about wedding programs?  Thought so.  They’re one of our most asked about day of items.

Programs are usually given out at your ceremony.  They let guests know what’s going on, who’s who, and any other important information you want to relay.  In terms of quantity, we recommend having half of your guest count printed (so one per couple!) unless you’re having them placed at seats.

• Including your order of ceremony is always nice, especially if you’re having an interfaith wedding.  If you’re including any special religious or cultural traditions, feel free to explain why.  If it means a lot to you, your guests will love to know about it!
• Let everyone know who is standing up there with you!  List the bridal party, your parents and grandparents and even the officiant in your wedding programs.
• Are you getting married on a special date?  Share the reason why!  Not everyone will know that you’re getting married on the anniversary of your first date!
• Include a personal thank you note in your wedding programs.  It’s such a sweet touch, and the perfect place to honor the loved ones who can’t be there with you that day.
