Christine and I first met a few years ago at an industry event, and I couldn’t have been more excited when she called me last fall to work with her on her own wedding stationery. Christine is half of a fantastic wedding planning duo, Poppy Events, here in Pittsburgh, and her wedding vision was nothing short of extraordinary. Pinks, golds, art deco and inspired by her reception location, Hotel Monaco. I took the inspiration and ran with it (I love creative freedom!) and the end result was stunning.
The entire suite was letter pressed on our 120# Reich Bright White Paper, so the invitation had a wonderful heaviness to it. We digitally printed the gold and pink details on the suite. The hexagonal pattern created a geometric border to frame their invitations. We paired a modern script with a traditional serif font, along with a mid-century style typeface, to support the vintage, art-deco vibe and to compliment their wedding reception location. I loved that we could work in these personal details to make a suite that was specifically for Christine and Frank. It was the perfect combination of modern and romantic!
Thank you to Amber Marie Photography for providing the gorgeous images!
We carried the theme throughout the day of stationery and paper goods at the reception. Gorgeous 6″ round die-cut menus sat at each place setting next to our square table numbers. We printed on our blush metallic paper to continue the pink color-scheme.
Frosted Envy created five wedding cakes in the couples signature colors, and carried our hexagon pattern throughout the desserts.
