Well, my friends, I can finally say the cat is out of the bag. It’s time to wish my darling friend Phebe a happy one year anniversary… and announce that we’ve been featured in the Fall issue of the Knot Magazine! If you haven’t had a chance to pick it up on stands, you can catch the issue online and check us out on page 98! Keeping this a secret has been one of the hardest things I’ve ever had to do. If you know me, I can’t keep a secret to save my life! I’m so excited to be sharing these Hand Painted Floral Rose Quartz and Serenity Wedding Invitations with you today!
Phebe, of MakingMeEvents, and I have known each other for years. We’ve been long time friends, having met years ago through another colleague in the industry. When she asked me to design her wedding invitations, I seriously cried tears of joy. It was such a tremendous compliment, and such a joy for me, to be able to do this for someone I love so much. Watching her and Mike fall in love over the years – and then to be a small part of their wedding day – was such an honor.
We started her invitations with a custom wedding crest, which easily became the centerpiece of her stationery. We carried pieces of the crest throughout the remainder of her wedding stationery (you’ll see it pop up in lots of places!) and branded her entire wedding from top to bottom. Inspired by her wedding venue, Grandview Estates, and bouquet, her entire invitation suite was hand painted then printed on our 130# cotton paper. Truly one of a kind piece, we tied her Rose Quartz and Serenity Wedding Invitations together with hand dyed ribbon and completed the look with a shimmery blush envelope liner.
Escort cards were carefully tucked into a bed of flowers, designed by Toni Chandler Flowers and Events.
Each tea length menu was tied with a gorgeous ribbon and set on top of each place setting. Custom wood cut names adored each place setting, letting guests know where to sit. photography courtesy of ruth eileen photography
