2.5″ x 1.5″ mini chocolate wraps
8.1875″ x 1.375″ water bottle labels I discovered that this size label perfectly fits on both Target and Giant Eagle brand water
8″ x 2″ water bottle labels In case you have a different water bottle, this is another popular size!
SUPPLIES
I purchased almost all of my props from Target, though some I already had at home. The glitter pumpkins, chocolate candy and pumpkin beaker candy are all from Target. I used the 8.1875″x1.375″ water bottle labels and wrapped them around water bottles that I purchased from Giant Eagle. The stripey straws came from Etsy and are something I already had on hand. Lastly, the favor boxes I got on clearance at Michaels!
The labels from onlinelabels.com come pre-scored, so there isn’t any need for cutting and peeling!
We do let Chloe have chocolate candy from time to time, but in small quantities. I don’t feel comfortable passing out chocolate at her preschool, so instead of wrapping the chocolate labels on mini candy bars, I plan on putting some Monster Munch in a small glassine bag and using the labels as a favor tag instead.
RECIPE
My Monster Munch isn’t the traditional sweet popcorn! For the kids, I combine Chex Rice, Shredded Wheat, Cheerios, raisins (plain or yogurt covered), mini chocolate chips OR plain m&ms (sparingly!). This is a very quick, easy recipe that can be changed based on your needs, children’s allergies and the kids’ ages. It was a HUGE hit at Chloe’s in-school birthday celebration!
Will you be passing out Halloween treats this year to your child’s class?
