Your Sweetheart’s Name: Lorenzo “Lawrence” Lozano

How’d you meet? Lawrence’s sister, who is a friend of mine, thought we

would be a good match…and it worked out!

Fill in the blank: We go together like __ and __!  peas and carrots!

How did you get engaged? Lawrence proposed at the top of the Willis

Tower in Chicago. He reserved a glass skydeck and had a bouquet of

flowers waiting for me. It was a little scary since the floor underneath us

was glass!

Were you surprised? I had a feeling it was coming since

Lawrence isn’t the type of person to plan anything and he had told me he

was taking care of everything that evening.

Did you cry? I cried so much!

When and where are you getting married? We will be getting married

March 19, 2016 at the Max A. Mandel Golf Course in Laredo, TX.

 

What made you decide on that time of year & location? I’ve always wanted an

outdoor wedding and after going at looking at the venue, I fell love with all

the scenic views there. Laredo tends to get very hot, so I wanted an early

spring wedding.

 

Describe your wedding in three words: Elegant, romantic, and dreamy

 

What’s your favorite source of wedding inspiration? (Blog, Magazine, etc.)?

Pinterest is such a great source. I also love looking at the knot magazine.

What have you loved the most about planning your wedding? Just having

my vision all come together.

 

What had been the most difficult about planning your wedding? I haven’t

really had a difficult time planning. My wedding planner has helped so

much to make everything as stress free as possible.

 

What are you most looking forward to on your wedding day, besides getting

married?! Gathering with all our friends and family and having a great

time! Lots of dancing!

Are you taking a honeymoon? Where are you going?! We will be spending a

couple of days in Miami and then we’ll spend a few more in St. Lucia.

 

Do you have any advice for a newly engaged couple? Enjoy the whole

planning process together…it can be a lot of fun!
