From Phebe from Making Me Events…Our photo shoot took place at a private beach in Massachusetts. The color scheme was inspired by the soft colors of a summer sunset. I’ve always been mesmerized at the simplicity of the sun setting, and how it can provide so many gorgeous colors independently and all at once. For this shoot, we focused on warm pinks, dull hues of peach and a pop of yellow, along with elements of bright gold to balance out the color palette. Pops of green added an unexpected element to our elegant watercolor shoot, and the beach provided the perfect backdrop as a venue for our shoot. We wanted to inspire future brides to look everywhere for inspiration and to incorporate elements of their venue that will add to the uniqueness of their wedding. Given our location we wanted to play up the fact that soft wind would be present, instead of fighting this element we decided to incorporated gorgeous chair covers that would add movement and a whimsy touch.
When planning your wedding don’t forget to add unexpected and bold elements, we’re giving you full permission to go crazy because we certainly did! We added gold faceted geometric terrariums instead of traditional vases, a gorgeous handmade Sequin Table number, and shadow boxes to hold escort cards, combined all of these elements look stunning and we were also pleased to see how it came together flawlessly. Planning something this gorgeous took an incredible team of talented vendors and I think that’s the key to fully enjoying the wedding planning journey, hire vendors who want to create something beautiful beyond your wildest dreams.
