A sweet Pittsburgh couple and I met a few weeks ago to get started on their October wedding invitations. While the bride is normally the first person to get in touch with me, it was actually the groom who called me first. He was hilarious to talk to, and we hit it off right away. He wanted to explain to me his profession, get my take on their wedding theme, and why they’d chosen it. I couldn’t help but laugh — he had explained it so well and so hilariously — and of course, I was hoping that they’d hire me so I could be a part of something so awesome. I absolutely adore couples who make each other laugh, find joy in each other, and are so happily in love.. but this couple was extra special. They laughed the entire time, poked fun at each other, didn’t take themselves seriously, and made me laugh so hard I had tears in my eyes. Meeting with these two was so much fun! I couldn’t wait to dive in and get started on their patriotic themed invites.
